Weymouth and Portland, in Dorset, are two very different but complementary towns that have grown up around the magnificent natural harbour of Portland Harbour and Chesil Beach.

Weymouth, the larger of the two, is a bustling seaside resort with a long and rich history. Portland, on the other hand, is a rugged and beautiful island, home to a working harbour and a thriving stone industry.
