Canada's role in international affairs has been a subject of debate and discussion for decades. In recent years, however, there has been a renewed interest in Canada's international history, thanks in part to the publication of several new books on the subject.
One of the most important of these books is Canada and the World Since 1867: New Approaches to International History, edited by Adam Chapnick and David MacKenzie. This book brings together a group of leading scholars to examine Canada's role in international affairs from a variety of perspectives.
The book is divided into three parts. The first part, "Canada and the World: An Overview," provides a broad overview of Canada's international relations from 1867 to the present. The second part, "Canada and the World: Themes and Issues," examines some of the key themes and issues in Canada's international relations, such as its relations with the United States, its role in international organizations, and its contributions to global governance. The third part, "Canada and the World: Case Studies," provides a series of case studies that explore specific aspects of Canada's international relations, such as its role in the First World War, the Cold War, and the War on Terror.
Canada and the World Since 1867 is a valuable resource for anyone interested in Canada's international history. It provides a comprehensive overview of the field and offers new insights into Canada's role in the world.
